Our company Pragati Milk Products Private Limited is a private limited company registered company act 1956 in the year 2008.Its registered office cum factory is located in the New industrial estate jagatpur which is close proximate to commercial city cuttack .Prior to 2008 it was partnership farm. This unit belongs to Pasupati Group of companies. At present it is a largest private dairy in the odisha. About 600 people have got direct employment and around 5000 people earn their earnings by indirect employment. Pragati play important role for social economic development of cattle farmer in costal districts of odisha.
PROCESSING FACILITIES
Main processing plant is located at jagatpur industrial area having plant capacity 250 KLPD milk . Along with milk pasteurization others culture products, Paneer ,Ghee, flavored Milk, Ice-Cream etc., are produced in this plant.There are 6 number of chilling plants widely spared in costal districts of odisha having 50KLPD milk chilling capacity. All chilling plants are connected to head office server and having online milk collection system. As soon as milk is pour in the milk weighing bowel, the suppliers are informed about quantity and quality via network enable sms system. All milk collected chilled instantly and transfer to processing plant through insulated tanker.
SALES & DISTRIBUTION
Pragati is the leading brand of dairy products is available almost all city of odisha. In each early morning Pragati's delivery van touches its distributor and retailers with fresh milk and milk products. Pragati maintain complete cold chain starting from milk collection in rural villages to retailers in urban area. Its logistic departments have 10 numbers of heavy refrigerated vans to deliver milk over 200 kms distance market. Distribution of milk and milk products in local market are done by insulated delivery vans similarly it has 10 refrigerated ice cream delivery vans on duty to cater ice cream in its distributor points. Most of ice cream distributors have FOW to deliver ice cream to the retailer in their respective area.
